Midwest Dhamaka is the premier Bollywood Dance Competition at the University of Cincinnati. Founded in 2011, we are a nationally recognized competition that brings in 8 teams from around the country to compete in Cincinnati. Midwest Dhamaka not only brings in teams from all over the country, but also promotes diversity and inclusion at the University of Cincinnati. This year the competition will take place on February 14, 2026. We hope to inspire attendees to embrace South Asian culture, as well as engage in one of the most high energy competitions in the nation. Our show is the perfect way to showcase the diversity, spirit, and enthusiasm of our university and city.
